Pakistan's emerging woman weightlifter Rabia Shehzad won a silver medal at the Welsh Open Weightlifting Championships in Cardiff.
Rabia Shahzad has competed in the 55kg weight category in the past, but before this event she lost weight and took part in the 49kg category for the first time.
Rabia said that in the championship, she lifted 40kg in the snatch and then 55kg in the clean and jerk, earning her a silver medal.
Rabia said she had suffered a fever before the event that affected her preparations, feverishly because she feared she might not be out of the championship.

Rabia added that she had no coaches and was assisted by another player in the tournament.
It should be noted that Rabia Shahzad won the Gold Medal in the 55kg category of the Ralph Cashman Open Weightlifting Championship held in Australia last year.
She has also won a silver medal at the Asian Bench Press Championship in Dubai.
