Imran Farooq Murder, 3 British witnesses  Called November 6th

Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court calls on November 6 to record statements of three British witnesses in Dr Imran Farooq's murder case.

Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Shah Rukh Arjmand heard Dr Imran Farooq's murder case.

Evidence received from the UK by the FIA ​​was also re-presented to the court with a list of witnesses after a judicial objection.

FIA prosecutor Khawaja Imtiaz appeared in court, saying that evidence obtained from the British government has been re-submitted to the court, including CCTV footage of the murder of Imran Farooq, the murder, the Franzek reports, the post-mortem of the victim. Reports, statements of 23 witnesses, including a recovery memo and investigation officer were also included.

He said that 3 out of 23 British witnesses would record the statement in person and 20 via video link.

Personal court testimony will include officials from the London Metropolitan Police Service's Counter Terrorism Command.

The court summoned all three British witnesses on November 6 to close the statement.


Earlier, the court had directed the British FIA to return the evidence and submit it after failing to submit a list of witnesses.

It may be recalled that MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq was assassinated on September 16, 2010 in the British capital of London's Edgeware with a sharp weapon.
